LILY SANDOVER KNGWARREYE
Born c 1947 at McDonald Downs station, Lily is an Alyawarre speaker.
Her country is Entibera, and she is the senior woman for this site, referred to by all Petyarre skin-group nieces on Entibera women's business. She is the eldest daughter of important elder Jacob Jones.
Her main dreamings are Two Sisters. Lily also paints various bush food stories, including Honey Grevillea and like most of the Utopia artists, began painting in 1988 for CAAMA, after years of previous experience making batik. She is currently part of the Arawerre community in the north of Utopia.
